We have waited too long to act
Sorry but I am afraid that we have waited too long to act on having everyone obey our laws. As much as I like our President I disagree vehemently that we should allow illegal anything into our country. I used to see the green insurance vehicles waiting to rendevous on the freeway to take illegals back to the border or to arrest them. Have not seen that since Ronald Reagan left office.
I had written my then Congressman who had begun a fight to keep the 'No Rights ' for the illegals. His letter was somewhat politically correct, but I received no satisfaction whatsoever in the response.
I have been hung-up on this and feeling very frustrated that nothing is being done that I can see. I have to ask again, “How does someone coming into our country illegally get RIGHTS?” And with our water and energy shortages and our crime rate increasing... and the percentages of the Mexican's taking over in our country, we all have to be out of our minds to look the other way.
Picture this scenario, one day soon they will be the majority and could chose to change all of our society. We could all have Mexican taught as the first language. I also recall there being a vote on that topic and yet we have bilingual teachers. That needs to be a resource that is provided after school, not during school and holding back other children from learning. Talk to any teacher and see what they say about how these students hold back the regular curriculum.
No wonder there is a shortage of teachers as well as nurses.
There's more I'd like to say but for the sake of time, will not.
I love kids and open my heart to anyone who follows our laws. This is not the kid’s fault, but it is not ours either. We have to do something about how far these Attorneys and Lobbyists can go to over-ride our rules and laws. Something has to be done sooner rather than later, before we have another civil war in our country. The silent majority have had it up to their elbows and will rebel sooner or later.
