Mexican immigrants abuse our system
I applaud your work, and hope that you and your group are able to stop this. My grandparents were immigrants, but came thru Ellis Island the proper way. They learned the language (grandmother attended 2nd grade at the age of 29 to learn English). There were no handouts, welfare etc. They paid their way and were better for it.
It makes me sick to see the way the Mexican immigrants abuse our system (accidents - no insurance, sick - indigent care). They are bankrupting the smaller hospitals and causing higher insurance rates all around (those who can pay, pay for those who don't/won't), not to mention the crime that comes along with them (first crime is crossing the border illegally, after that why should they comply to any of our laws?).
They do not want to conform/change to the American way, they want us to change to their way, which if it was so great, why are they leaving Mexico in droves?
Although it sounds like I'm a racist, I'm not. I just want to enjoy the fruits of my labor and not share it with people who do not care about me or the sacrifices my family and I have made for this country.
