Failure to protect states against invasion
Dear Ed,
Thanks for your reply email.
What really bothers me is that we are 'chipping' away piecemeal at the solution which, once again requires 'enforcement', the big failure to now in all the laws promulgated concerning illegal immigration.
That end of it has provided all the opportunity needed for the illegals with their huge network of lawyers to manipulate the system (up to now) to the point that it is useless, especially those laws. There is subversion( our immigration process did not get to be what it now is all by itself - it had to have subversion, treason involved) which needs exposure and rooting out.
We are working against a fifth column of those willing to sell out the country and its citizens. If we are going to try to convince a lot of dunderheads in Congress who cannot see what is going on(some of which are themselves subversive), who don't care about public opinion already amply conveyed to them, we must do something strong enough to get their attention.
We should somehow threaten with impeachment, recalls, and the like, and with teeth in the threats. What I know would make a strong point would be to file suit on the government based on their failure to enforce Article IV, sec 4 of U.S. Constitution which is to protect states against invasion. That case is made; the issue is constitutional. That would be strong enough.
I am convinced that to solve the illegal immigration problem, we must close that border with troops & deport all illegals. While we dingleberry around the edges of the solution with pieces of a solution we are still and more effectively being overrun.VDARE reports now a very likely number, 20 millions, of resident illegal aliens in the U.S. (D.A. King VDARE 8/8/04).
To fix a leak, you first turn off the water - so then we can put together the right system enforced. Then all the alert initiatives can be implemented and made meaningful, effective. We should consider rescinding previous amnesties beginning with that of '86. Sound drastic, yes, but not altogether unrealistic when you consider what squelched the NSSM 200 just beforehand.
I am not at all sure that all of us see the portent of being hooked up with a dysfunctional nation like Mexico & the other 10 or so Latino dysfunctional countries. That final subversion for me is the most horrible possible scenario I can imagine. That is the road we are on.
yours in the fight,
