Border Control's Congressional Honor Roll for 1998

September 9, 1998, Washington -- U.S. Border Control announced its Congressional Honor Roll to recognize those Representatives who, in its opinion, have advanced immigration reform in the 105th Session of the Congress.

To receive this honor, Members of Congress have to distinguish themselves by sponsoring or cosponsoring legislation, voting for immigration reform, and speaking out on the issue.

This year, we are proud to recognize the following members of U.S. Border Control‚s Honor Roll whose actions have had a dramatic effect on immigration reform in the 105th session of Congress:

California: Elton Gallegly, James Rogan, Stephen Horn, Sonny & Mary Bono, Dana Rohrabacher, Ron Packard, Brian Bilbray, Duncan Hunter

Also recognized for their efforts to develop sensible and effective border and immigration policies are those Representatives who scored a perfect 100% rating in Border Control's Immigration Vote Analysis of the 105th Congress.
