Obama really didn’t have a chance to be reelected … until the stupid party, excuse me, I meant the Republican party, trotted out their field of candidates. Now he does!
Take Rick Perry, for example. He meets ALL of the Republican Party’s criteria. He has a nice smile, he has good hair, he rolls up his sleeves at the fairgrounds and he can make a good speech.
He meets their entire criteria. Regarding a candidate’s stance on fiscal policy, defense matters, privacy, education, jobs, welfare and, most importantly, illegal immigration, the stupid Party has no litmus test. Their only concern is putting an ass in a seat.
In fact, for the past 12 years, the Republican Party political leadership has been FOR open borders, FOR amnesty and FOR letting businesses have a steady supply of cheap illegal alien workers.
How do you think we ended up with Obama? In part, because John McCain was the coauthor of the McCain-Kennedy Amnesty bill, that’s how! Faced with the choice of a pro-amnesty Republican and a pro-communist Democrat, lots of Americans stayed home, popped a beer and watched the end of America on television.
WHERE IS THE RAGE?
People, this is our country that these politicians are destroying!
People like Karl Rove, who authored the Republican party’s strategy of pandering after the Hispanic vote by offering benefits, jobs and amnesty to illegal aliens are the problem, not the solution.
He should have been tarred, feathered and run out of town years ago … along with another Republican viper, Grover Norquist, who talked George W Bush into allowing Saudi Arabia to start putting Islamic Learning Centers on every college campus.
The Republican Party used to be my party when it stood for fiscal responsibility, limited government, a strong national defense (not offense), secure borders, and the right to privacy.
While Obama and nitwits in his cabinet deserve most of the credit for the destruction of our nation, much of the groundwork was laid during the Bush Administration.
WE HAVEN’T LEARNED FROM OUR MISTAKES
We don’t need pretty faces or candidates with great charisma. We need people with brains, courage and integrity. We need candidates who can speak from their hearts and tell you what they believe in without using a teleprompter or writing on their sleeve.
They should be able to address any of the important topics of the day without coaching. There are people out there who can. Ron Paul can and he’s good on many issues. Newt Gingrich can but he’s not so good on the issues. Pawlenty probably could.
At the end of the day, we’ll probably end up with Mitt Romney as the Republican party candidate. And it wouldn’t be the worst thing that has happened to our country if he were elected.
But America can do better. It is time for every American to get really and truly pissed off with their respective political parties. Both are rat’s nests that need to be fumigated.
Back around 1976-78, a bunch of committed conservatives decided to clean house at the Republican party, from the ground up. They attacked liberal Republicans in the House and Senate. They ran candidates against them, not fearing that the election might cost the party a seat.
They preferred to root out the enemy within so they could make room for real honest conservatives to fill those seats.
The result … in a few short years the Republicans took over the Congress for the first time in forty years! Reagan was elected and America had a terrific run.
Sadly, in the intervening years, limousine liberal, big business, Chamber of Commerce Republicans regained control and we are in great need of another major purge.
Whether the Tea party will be the ones to do it or whether there will be a serious uprising among conservatives in the Republican party remains to be seen. But it has to be done quickly.
If we had real conservatives in the Congress, impeachment proceedings would be well underway and the left would be running for the hills. Having a President is nice, but having control of the Congress and the purse strings of government is an even stronger position … if those in Congress have the courage to play hard ball!
“Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.” George Washington

You’re right. It is the stupid party and if they let Obama get reelected, they ALL should be tarred and feathered and run out of town.
