U.S. BORDER CONTROL
Membership Information

U.S. Border Control is not funded by your tax dollars nor does it accept major gifts or contributions from large corporations or foundations. This is done to ensure this organization will never be financially indebted to any single interest and remains free to support legislation that is good for America and in the best interests of all Americans.

As a consequence, USBC relies solely on the support it receives from citizens concerned with border and immigration policies. In short, without your support, we would not exist and the work that we do to restore our nation's borders and to lobby for effective and fair immigration policies would end.

Fortunately, we have been blessed with tens of thousands of wonderful supporters. They are intelligent, thoughtful and dedicated to our mission of stopping illegal immigration and restoring our nation's borders.

While our Washington staff provides the tools and the expertise, it's the members who provide the clout. Their letters, postcards and petitions, arriving by the truckload, are a sight no Congressman dares to ignore. By supporting our organization, you can add your voice to this powerful chorus for positive change in America.

If you are interested in learning more about our membership program, please click the highlighted words below or Email your questions to us at info@usbc.org. Thank you.

Dues

A voluntary dues structure was established so that any person interested in the issue can afford to participate in the organization's lobbying efforts and receive timely and accurate information on border and immigration legislation.

For a minimum contribution of $20, USBC will provide a year's worth of newsletters, special reports and citizen action mailings that will allow full participation in our lobbying efforts.

Our membership dues are kept as low as possible in order to have the largest number of citizens participating in our lobbying efforts. However, if you can afford to contribute more, please do so as there is so much to do and time is not on our side.

The average membership contributions range from $20 -$35, but whatever amount you decide you wish to contribute, whether it is $20 or $2000, be assured that your contribution will be put to work immediate to stop illegal migration, slam the door on terrorism and reform our immigration laws so that they are both fair and in America's best interests.

You should also know that your membership contribution is unconditionally guaranteed. If, at any time, you feel that Border Control is not living up to your expectations, write to us and we will refund your entire membership contribution.

The maximum contribution USBC will accept is $10,000. This limitation is to ensure that our organization will never be financially compromised.

Benefits

As a token of appreciation for the support we receive from our members, Border Control has assembled an array of member benefits.

In addition to our newsletter, Border Alert, all members receive a Border Control membership card, regular updates and special reports on our efforts to reform our border and immigration policies. Members also receive our Congressional Scorecard where we rate every Member of Congress based on immigration votes cast.

Members also get access to 'Members Only' sections to our website, www.usbc.org and are invited to online conferences where members can 'chat' with USBC President Edward Nelson.

Of course, your membership contribution is unconditionally guaranteed. If, at any time, you feel that Border Control is not living up to your expectations, write to us and we will refund your membership contribution.

Activism

An active membership base is the key to our very effective grass roots lobbying activities. And our activist's program gives us to ability to respond instantly to the often rapid changes in legislation that can take place on Capitol Hill. While our regular legislative efforts involve such things as helping Representative's find co-sponsors for their bills or deluging the Congress with mail in support or opposition of specific legislation, there are times when the mail is simply too slow to keep up with changing events.

For those times, we have our activist's network, members who are (a) interested in playing a key role at those critical times and (b) have the available technology, i.e., email, to receive our special alerts. The alerts update you on the immediate crisis and then ask you to email or call your Representative, Senators or key committee members stating your support or opposition to an amendment, rule or other legislative activity that can have a significant impact on border or immigration policy

If you would like to become a member of our "rapid response team," please email us at rrt@usbc.org and put the word Join on the Subject line and we will make sure you are added to our elite corps.

If you are already a member and wish to be added to our activist's list, send us your email address and we will add you to our team.
