Snatching Defeat from the Jaws of Victory

In our May 26th blog, Border Control celebrated the Supreme Court victory that allowed states like Arizona to pressure businesses into adopting E-Verify or lose their business license. It was a long battle that was fought up through the court system.  It was an expensive battle for the citizens of Arizona.  And it was a difficult battle when you consider that Arizona was taking on the power, influence and money of all those business interest and political organizations who support open borders, mass illegal migration and the hiring of illegal aliens over American workers. They faced the combined strength of the U.S. Chamber

Sound Off, Monday, June 6th, 2011

How can you tell when a politician is lying?  It’s easy.  They’re lying when their lips are moving! The Soviet Union used to use what is called “the Big Lie” technique for brainwashing their people … and the world.  Actually, “the Big Lie” technique may have begun with Adolf Hitler who referred to it in his “Mein Kampf” and was used regularly by his propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels. “A big lie, repeated long enough, eventually becomes the truth.   It has to be “so colossal that no one would believe that someone could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.” Sadly,

“There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. Pro-Amnesty Group Boycotts Georgia

A nonprofit group, calling itself the U.S. Human Rights Network is moving its biannual conference out of Georgia following the passage of House Bill 87, Georgia’s anti-illegal immigration legislation. Founded by leftist organizations including the ACLU, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International USA, and the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, the Network claimed it had planned on hosting its conference in Atlanta, bringing around 600 visitors to the area in December. The Network plans to continue boycotting Georgia (although, it appears they’ll still be headquartered there) until the legislation is tossed out. A spokesperson from the Governor’s office confirmed

Census Data Confirms Illegal Immigrants Are Taking Over Our Country

WASHINGTON — Hispanics now outnumber African-Americans for the first time in most U.S. metropolitan areas, shifting the political and racial dynamics in cities once dominated by whites and blacks. Census figures released recently highlight the growing diversity of the nation’s 366 metro areas, which were home to a record 83.7 percent share of the U.S. population. The numbers from the 2010 count are already having a big effect on redistricting in many states, where district boundary lines are being redrawn based on population size and racial makeup. Hispanics became the largest minority group in 191 metropolitan areas last year, their
