“Sick and tired of this administration doing absolutely nothing about the problem”
July, 2004
The Republican campaign strategy of pandering for the Hispanic vote by offering amnesty and massive benefits to illegal aliens is insane, offensive to me and my family, to other Americans who believe in obeying the law, and those immigrants who came here legally to live the American dream.
Unfortunately, by allowing illegal immigrants to invade this country by the
thousands on a daily basis, the American dream has become a nightmare for everyone.
The pot is beginning to boil, and the more illegal immigrants that are allowed
to come into this country the more the pot will boil.
Americans are sick and tired of this administration doing absolutely nothing about the problem. It is becoming obvious that the current administration's immigration policy is just one of the issues that will cost President Bush this election if he chooses not to address them in the upcoming Republican National Convention.
It is the height of hypocrisy to claim we are fighting a war to protect Americans
from terrorists when our borders are wide open and Muslims from terrorist countries
are pouring across the border daily, in addition
to thousands of illegal immigrants from a multitude of other countries.
If you want to win this election, here are a few of the many things you need to do:
1) End all incentives to illegal migration, including amnesty, totalization treaties, anchor babies, and so on,
2) Support Virgil Goode's bill to put troops on the border to assist ICE, HR 277,
3) Support Ron Paul's bill to repeal the Motor-Voter law that allows millions of illegal aliens to register and vote, HR 2139,
4) Impose heavy sanctions on Mexico unless they stop encouraging their citizens to illegally immigrate here,
When you close the borders, I'll open my wallet. Don't bother sending me any more fund raising appeals until you close the border to terrorists, drugs and illegal aliens.
Remember this: A country that cannot, or will not, control its borders is a country that cannot, or will not, control its destiny. Believe it - - - and do something about it.
In the meantime, I'll give my money to those organizations that care about the problem.
