Border Control Announces 'Hall of Fame' for the 109th Congress
WASHINGTON, DC -- Edward I. Nelson, Chairman of U.S. Border Control
(USBC), has announced the inductees into the U.S. Border Control Hall of Fame
for the 109th Congress.
The list includes 125 U.S.
Representatives and 20 U.S.
Senators. The voting record for each
Member of Congress can be found at www.usbc.org by clicking on the Border Alert
Scoreboard Issue and/or Election Central.
Chairman Nelson stated, “The members
of the 109th Congressional Hall of Fame have listened to the overwhelming
majority of their constituents who want an end of open borders, amnesty and
welfare benefits for illegal aliens.
The House Scorecard is based 12 votes on immigration issues including
deploying troops on the border; ending the visa lottery, and fining employers
who hire illegals.
The Senate scorecard is also based on 12 votes including opposition to
amnesty, preservation of Social Security for American citizens, and making
English the official language.
“There remains a tremendous amount of work to be done to secure our borders
against drugs, disease, terrorism, and illegal migration, but the 109th
Congress has taken some important first steps by standing up to the
Administration’s and the Senate’s push for amnesty and by passing the Secure
Fence Act.”
U.S. Border Control is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, established
in 1988. USBC’s
mission is to end illegal immigration and restore America’s sovereignty by securing
the nation's borders and reforming border and immigration policies.
